Integrate this into a game for infinite playability.

Does the image generator return some kind of seed that allows you to reproduce the result?

The seed is passed on the command line.

WoW is pretty hard for younger kids to get into. Minecraft and Roblox are available on ipads and WoW is not.

Minecraft surpassed WoW while it was still Java only and entirely on desktops.

Not going to bed until I get my rotting corpse! multiple 30min corpse runs and at 3am I get my corpse only die again before I make it out of the dungeon. Those were the good ol days.

One thing that made EverQuest good were the sounds. They were mesmerizing at times.

There always those really weird esoteric bugs that someone has already slogged through lots of trial and error to resolve. SO is great for those kinds of problems.

Yep - if you're getting a particular error code or message that makes no sense, googling as often as not finds it in a SO post, along with 20 ways to solve it, of which at least 1 usually gives you what you need to do so. It's hard to imagine how much time I'd have spent tracking it down otherwise.

YYYY-DD-MM as a folder / filename does not sort correctly. Not a fan.

I much prefer YYYY-MM-DD for its sorting behavior.

Sorry, that was a typo. I meant to say YYYY-MM-DD. Edited now.

Important note: while a datestamp like YYYY-MM-DD does sort correctly, a datetime stamp such as YYYY-MM-DDThh-mm-ss does not because of DST and negative leap seconds.

If interest rates are high then the typical borrower can no longer compete with the cash buyers buying up all the real estate. How does that play out?

Cash buyers may literally buy in cash, but they are almost always leveraged. Either they then finance the house, have financing as good as cash secured, or something similar. Cash offers refer to the lack of a financing contingency on the sale, and less towards how that interacts with the debt market.

It's a housing supply problem. Interest rates were just a bandaid.

I love the antiquated ordering process. Wish I could just click buy from my iPhone or send crypto.

At some point we're going to have the opposite issue. Stuff will work for ARM but not x86. Thanks Apple.

But apparently "thanks" unironically right? I am not a CPU expert, but from what I have read about ARM during this transition (plus with more ARM options becoming available in the cloud) it seems to me like x86 is bogged down with a fair amount of baggage and ARM/RISK is actually a better technology which has been held back by the inertia of x86.

Happy to be corrected if I am wrong.

You're welcome.

Something like this?

Thanks for this, I'll have to try it first but this looks like exactly what I hoped for (it's a shame that it is only for .NET and Visual Studio though)

I'm gonna play stupid and ask "where do I get the url for the properties I'm interested in". It's not explained at all on the page.
