I had forgotten about Pegasus Mail! I used it back in the day. Don't think I've heard that name mentioned in years.

IMO this submission could use a better title to highlight the current issue, which according to the link is that the sole dev of the Pegasus email client sunk a lot of time into supporting Oauth on Gmail (required this year) only to discover that Google will require a security assessment every year at the dev's expense, which isn't workable for this long-time, free program.

I don't know if this requirement was easily discoverable beforehand.

That was the biggest point i went away from the whole google-legacy-stuff...no beeing able to use the mail-client i want.

Hey Google are you doing the same mistakes with your mail as you did with your talk*? ;)
