the manipulated images were altered in two ways:

Images of laboratory equipment and Western blots (a technique used to detect specific proteins in a sample) were manipulated to enhance the brightness and contrast, making it easier to see the results. However, in some cases, this also resulted in the amplification of certain signals, making them appear stronger than they actually were.

Some images were duplicated or altered to represent different experimental conditions, while in reality, they were from the same experiment. This could give the impression that multiple experiments were conducted when in fact, they were not.
