When I was younger I was naive to think these business leaders were some types of geniuses. Turns out every one of them is just jumping from one hype to the next, hoping something sticks. If it doesn't, write it off. If it hits, they're a genius.


That's a lot of what I've seen the upper class be. Take a lot of bets, you need one to hit VS play it safe...

And it even pans out in generations. The scion of the Tang family (as in MIT Tang hall) sent half his kids to business, half to politics, figuring out on average it would turn out ok (it did)


I went down a very deep rabbit hole looking into the Tang clan/dynasty. So interesting.
