The problem is that AMD is nowhere close to DLSS performance/quality, AMD cards are good for rasterization but it's not enough. The other thing is that most game don't implement FSR because 90%+ cards are nvidia.

Lots of games do and will support FSR because current gen consoles are all AMD (and console gamers outnumber PC gamers).

> and console gamers outnumber PC gamers

It's my understanding that there are 2-3x more PC gamers than console gamers, but the console gaming market generates more revenue when you include hardware. In fact there are probably more PC gamers today than total consoles ever sold.

A little too early to tell where AMD is when FSR 4 is not even out yet.

I would be shocked if it gets close to DLSS4 quality

> but it's not enough

How do you mean?

I’ve never used DLSS or ray tracing or whatever Nvidia cooks up. I don’t know a single person that cares about those features and I know a lot of gamers.

Nowdays a lot of people care if you want decent fps without expensive setup.

The reason people care about fps because it used to be a fairly decent proxy for latency. Latency is what's actually important. DLSS makes latency worse.

Nobody wants fake frames.

I do. Besides, all frames are fake.
